SUMMIT OF THE SOUTHEAST COMMITTEE
To provide a yearly venue that unites a community around Healthcare Information Technology leaders and the most pressing opportunities. The event will foster collaboration, awareness, education, and networking to advance healthcare innovation and enhanced performance.

The mission of the communications committee is to develop and execute Chapter communication strategies, event messages, membership recruitment, and focused industry education materials through various channels including the chapter web site, email distribution lists, newsletters, Chapter or Affiliate social media sites, and marketing/public relation agencies. The committee is structured to have a key committee member and leader over web site content, newsletters, social media, list management, and event reporting and photography.

The mission of the TNHIMSS Workforce Committee is to Extend the opportunities for workforce education by Enhancing the collaboration between academic institutions, employers and candidates which will Expand the available workforce to meet the needs of the growing demand for HIT skills in Tennessee.

HIMSS mobilizes its members and other collaborators to successfully accomplish multiple levels of advocacy activities that are fueled by its members passion and experience.
