The Tennessee Chapter of HIMSS Celebrates the Success of This Year’s AI Hackathon

The Tennessee Chapter of HIMSS is thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of this year’s AI Hackathon, held in Nashville. This impactful event brought together some of the brightest minds in technology and healthcare, creating a platform for collaboration and groundbreaking innovation. With a strategic focus on nursing solutions, the Hackathon showcased the transformative potential of AI in addressing critical challenges within the provider sector and advancing healthcare delivery. This year’s event underscored the importance of integrating cutting-edge technology to empower healthcare professionals and improve patient outcomes.

Winners Announced in Diverse Categories

This year’s Hackathon featured two divisions, the Academic Division and the Professional Division, each showcasing exceptional talent and groundbreaking ideas:

· Professional Division Winner: Team Rōnin from Rōnin Consulting

· Academic Division Winner: Zach Burgess from MTSU

Honorable mentions go to the teams from Ravenwood High School and 25m Health, whose remarkable contributions highlighted the depth of talent in this competition.
