The Tennessee Chapter of HIMSS has announced the election of Justin Mooneyhan, AMSURG Sr. Director of Strategy, Solutions and Innovations, as President Elect.

“We are excited to elect Justin as the next President of the Tennessee Chapter of HIMSS,” said current Tennessee HIMSS Chapter President Brad Morrow of Pearl Health. “As an organization that strives to bring innovation and insight to the Tennessee healthcare community, the Board of Directors is confident that his expertise and vision will greatly contribute to our collective mission. Justin is a long-standing chapter Board member. His deep health tech background and ability to understand the complex landscape of healthcare IT, will provide the continued leadership to move the chapter forward as healthcare technology continues to transform the industry.”

Mooneyhan added, “It’s an honor to be selected as the next President of the Tennessee Chapter of HIMSS. The challenges and opportunities that lie ahead in the health IT ecosystem are tremendous. In addition to Mooneyhan’s election, six new Board Members were also recently elected to one-year terms. They include:

  • Danielle Dedrick – C Spire, Major Accounts
  • Brian Hoover – World Wide Technology, Client Executive
  • Baxter Lee – Clearwater, Chief Financial Officer
  • Brett Meeks – Horizon Government Affairs, Vice President
  • Keith Perry – St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Sr. Vice President and Chief Information Officer
  • Jeff Schar – Sendero, Managing Director
